What information is needed for an accurate shipping quote?
We need: Product name, number of cartons, gross weight and dimensions, detailed destination address, preferred shipping options, product components (liquid/magnetic/battery), product pictures, and the cargo ready date.
Do you charge based on CBM or KG for LCL shipments?
In most cases, if the volumetric weight of your cargo is greater than the gross weight, we charge by CBM. If your gross weight is greater than the volumetric weight, we charge by KG.
How do I calculate volumetric weight?
The formula is: Volumetric Weight = [Length (cm) x Height (cm) x Width (cm)] / 6000. For example, a carton of 48x45x39cm = 14.04kg. For Global Express, the divisor is 5000 instead of 6000.
When choosing DDP service, do I need to provide customs clearance documents?
No, you don't need to provide anything for customs clearance. We will clear the goods for you under our name and send them directly to your final destination.
What is the difference between DDP and DAP/PVA for UK/EU shipments?
If you need an MRN (Movement Reference Number) for e-commerce checks, you should choose DAP. To use PVA (Postponed VAT Accounting), you must have your own VAT/EORI account and a payment history from at least the previous three months.
